Sherene H. Razack is a Distinguished Professor at UCLA and the Penny Kanner Endowed Chair in Women’s Studies. Her research and teaching focus on racial violence. She is the founder of the virtual research and teaching network the Racial Violence Hub (RVHub) and the digital project Race and Deaths in Custody. She is also the writer of several books, the latest of which is "Nothing Has to Make Sense: Upholding White Supremacy Through Anti-Muslim Racism".
