After one track day at Lydden Hill, it was clear more power was needed. This is when the 1.8 20v turbo conversion was decided on and a 1999 Mk4 Golf GTi was purchased for £200 and became the donor car!
Over the past 2 years or so, the car has been sat outside my workshop mostly untouched and unloved but over the past few weeks, alot more progress has been made.
Over the christmas holidays of 2021, i set a target of making the car run and this three part series shows just how tough it was!
