In Macam Studios they are created to inspire film-makers, actors and fans to dreaming without limits, through ‘what if’ trailers.

►How are ‘what if’ trailers made?

I start by becoming a fan of the film, then research franchise news, fan theories and updates about the dream film. Then find new clips of the actors and any elements that makes the the franchise known for. Ultimately to create a ‘what if’ trailer using effects, music, AI, and editing software like Wondershare Filmora, Photopea, and more.

►What makes Macam Studios unique from other concept trailer channels?

Unlike other channels, Macam Studios state at the beginning of each trailers that its 'fan made'.

Editing Journey:

I’m not big on horror films, but if I had to pick which is my favorite horror franchise I would have to go with the Scream. I’m a fan because I love how the good always wins, the main characters have cool moments. Its no surprise Scream VII is my favorite among the franchise because its set in New York City. NYC is my favorite city because of Spidey films. So I set Scream VII dream trailer to be in NYC again. I begin by showing the main character reminiscing the moments of the previews films. MILLER’S GIRL had a line “in your own words how did it start” in which I made the main character say “It started in Woodsboro California” to reference the previews films. Then perfect chance to show our OG characters.

Act 2 I showed a scene of someone getting a phone call from Ghost face. This fresh scene was possible thanks to the Scream fan films. The plot I wanted it to give the bigger vibe, by making the whole country part of fighting to end the ghost face. The line goes “The only way to end this is by making sure the mask is band in the entire country” Then end with the line form the main character “I will end this once and for all”. I had a blast making this trailer because its always enjoyable editing horror dream trailers with its music. Part of the fun was making the title sequence Scream VII in the style of the films.
