In the third quarter of the current year, K+S’s revenue of €866 million was slightly below the value of the prior year’s quarter (€881 million). The operating result EBITDA reached €66 million, compared to €72 million in the third quarter of 2023. Lower prices for potash-containing products in both customer segments, as well as slightly lower sales volumes, were the main reasons for this development. The adjusted Free Cash Flow amounted to +€111 million in the first nine months of the current fiscal year (9M/2023: +€328 million). K+S CEO Dr. Burkhard Lohr comments in an interview on business performance and the outlook for the full year. He also addresses the question of whether Donald Trump’s return to the White House could impact K+S’s U.S. business.
