Hey hey! It's Jane!
I can't believe how popular this tutorial is - I am so honoured and grateful for your time and interest. From my heart, thank you.
A couple of notes to mention as you watch this video:
This video was created in 2015, when I was just learning about video tutorials.
So.....
a) The background music is kinda loud #ugh #sorry #IfICouldTurnBackTime
b) This is an old PoleFit Nation tutorial video - sadly, PFN is now defunct. We will greatly miss this special place.
That being said, please enjoy this tutorial and feel free to ask any questions.
I'm still pole, write about feeling strong and confident, teaching classes in person and online and sharing my love of pole.
Cheers, Jane
(Ps.. I added timestamps to make it easier to enjoy!)

My most beloved spin! This is on a static pole. This move takes time and you have to make sure you don't overdo it - it can be taxing on your shoulder. Here is the breakdown:
Inside hand nice and high, activate your back muscles. As you get more comfortable with this spin, you can start your hand lower on the pole.
Stepping on inside foot, push off - lifting your outside foot.
As you push off, outside hand connects with pole, hips move in front of pole and to the side. Outside hand will release from pole, then connect behind body - finger tips downwards.
Legs release to a stag/fan leg position.
