Filipe de Brito e Nicote was a Portuguese soldier and adventurer who lived during the 16th century. He was known for his involvement in the Portuguese expeditions to Southeast Asia. Filipe de Brito e Nicote played a significant role in the tumultuous events in the Kingdom of Pegu (in present-day Myanmar), where he briefly established himself as a king.
