SUMTER COUNTY, Fla. —
A person wanted for murder was fatally shot Thursday morning on Interstate 75 after an exchange of gunfire with deputies, officials said.
Officials with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office said deputies attempted to stop a person wanted for murder out of Citrus County while he was traveling into Sumter County on State Road 44.
