This is a video about 3 of the most unique stories from Balochistan. Those who cant wait these include Awaran award-winning housing project, the second one is a Baloch tradition haal and the last one is my cheapest journey in Balochistan for only 5000 rupees in 40 days.
The first story is from awaran which is the most backward area of Balochistan. The city of awaran is at a drive of 4 to 5 hours from Karachi. This area was highly affected by the militants as well. This was the place where the basic needs of every human which include water, health, and roads were absent. In 2013, awaran was hit by an earthquake due to which people living in the area lost their houses.
Then a project was introduced here which won the best Asia Pacific Award for civil engineering in 2018. With the collaboration of Balochistan and the Federal Government, a housing project was launched. According to this project, 16000 houses were to be constructed. The staff of the project made it possible that the people meet the guidelines.
The second story is a tradition of Balochistan called Haal. The people living in Balochistan often give heal to each other when they meet. It is a description of all the events when they use to meet each other after last time.
The third story is about my journey when I traveled in only 5000 rupees in Balochistan for 40 days. When I was on my way on bicycle throughout Pakistan in 2017-18, I realized how lucky I was to born in this beautiful country.
Balochistan has remained one of my favorite places in Pakistan. One may ask why? Just imagine the mud volcanoes, Asia’s Highest Railway Station, unlimited beaches, Makran Coastal Highway, Beautiful Sunsets, Best Railway System, tunnels, and more than all these, the people of Balochistan whom you have met.
It is often thought about Balochistan that it has barren lands and filled with mountains. But the culture of Balochistan is filled with art. The main identity of Balochistan is its tribes and festivals. The storytellers and poets also held an important place in Baloch culture. But watch the video to find out WHY! And let me know your favorite place in Balochistan is?
