Lamb shanks are perfect for the slow cooker, they have a lot of connective tissue, and it can be tough if not cooked correctly. However, when cooked low and slow, the connective tissues melt into flavorful juices.
TIPS
Number of Lamb Shanks - This recipe can be used for 1, 2 or even 3 lambs shanks, as long as they fit in your slow cooker.
Stock Pots - We used a Beef stock pot in our recipe, but you can use a lamb stock pot instead,
Fresh Rosemary - Use fresh or dried rosemary in this recipe, if you are using fresh, make sure you chop the leaves and take out the stem.
