₹2,000 Note Banned | The RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das clarified the circular on withdrawing ₹2,000 notes. He said that it is a currency management act of the reserve bank that is performed from time to time. The currency notes still remain a legal tender and can be used for transactions as of now.
