Today, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Optronics ONE LED trailer taillight. This light's going to provide us with all our necessary functions to help us stay legal and safe, such as our running lights, our turn signals and our brake lights. As you can see, even with fewer diodes than most they're still more than bright enough to keep visible. Now what I really like about these lights is that their LED, which means you're not gonna have to worry about any brittle filaments like your traditional style incandescence light, which means they're gonna be more reliable, last a lot longer, put out a brighter light all while using less power. These lights are sonically sealed, which means they can't be submersed. However, my personal opinion, I would not have power to it when doing so or keep it under water for any length of time.It does have a polycarbonate lens which is going to be nice and durable and less susceptible to cracking.

I personally would use these on my trailer because it's an economical way to upgrade to an LED style light. Now here on the back of the light we have our electrical connection point. The contacts do come covered in diode electric grease, so that's one less inaudible 00:01:17, don't need to worry about when you're installing your light. There's also some raised lettering that indicates what each connection point is used for. Now I'll show you how easy it is to install the light.You simply take your trailer wiring and run it through the opening and simply just plug it in the back of the light.

Now sometimes these lights can be a really tight fit in the grommet, so to help make it a little easier you can lube it down with some silicone spray or even just soap and water will work. And you just line the light up. Use your fingers to push it in. You'll hear it and feel it fully seat. That's all there is to it.

I can put some power to the light and make sure all of our functions work. And if you purchase more than one light, you just repeat that process to install the others. And that'll do it for our look at and installation of the Optronics ONE LED trailer taillight.
