It was the family's first camping and official day out during pandemic. The longest we could have out of our house. The kids have not experienced staying out this long for months since this pandemic has started. Usually when we are out, we would be just in the car. It is where we stay and eat our food because establishments prohibit kids to enter.

When the government has loosen the rules, we managed to camp out at Driftwoods Action Park. A nearby park from our place. The kids were really excited as they knew about the camping. And would suggest activities that we could do. We stayed a good 2 days and 1 night at Driftwoods and I must say, it was one for the books. The place was kid-friendly. It offers different activities for your stay. It was a great time for the kids to find new friends and just plainly play in the open. It was really cold when we visited the place and so bonfire was heaven sent. We roasted marshmallows and hotdogs as requested by the kids. We also tried ATV and bike riding and took every trail in the park. Ada went down the hill on her bike and crashed face first into the grasses. Her Papa said she got up looking really pale. It was epic fun.
