Various shots of the celebrations for the Greek Independence Day. Flags were flying and military parades were held in most of the Greek cities. Contingents of Army, Navy and Air Force embellished with groups of frogmen, parachutists and commandos marched in front of the tomb of the unknown soldier as scores of heavy tanks, missles, heavy guns and other military equipment roared behind. Jet formation flew overhead spelling the year 1821 when the greek nation started its independence movement. KING CONSTANTINE and QUEEN ANNA MARIA together with Crown Princess leaving the Metropolis after the doxology.
