Three petitions have been filed at the Supreme Court, two of them challenging the election of president Kenyatta, and one seeking the court to find NASA leaders, including the presidential candidates, liable for acts of omission and commission by the three supporters in the October 26th repeat election. International Commission of Jurists chairman, Njonjo Mue, and activist Khelef Khalif, want the election nullified.
So is former Kilome MP Harun Mwau who says the IEBC violated the law by not allowing for nomination of candidates after the August 8th election was nullified. And as Ken Mijungu reports, the institute of governance on the other hand wants NASA to be found liable for activities of their supporters.
