A brave wildebeest mum successfully defended her baby from THREE cheetahs by charging into them.

Stefan Kohrs was leading a tour through Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, South Africa, on January 9 when his son Jonathan spotted the predators watching a passing herd.

Dramatic footage shows the cheetah trio sprinting full speed towards the wildebeest, with one of the big cats tackling a four-month-old youngster at the back of the pack.
