Recipe for dough
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/4 room temperature salted butter
[2 1/4 teaspoons active yeast
1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/2 cup warm water to activate yeast]
3 drops of yellow coloring with 1/2 cup warm water to help knead flour (I didn't used the full half to knead flour)
Activate yeast for about 5-10 minutes
Coconut recipe
2 cups of grated coconut
1/4 cup of granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground glove
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 t easpoon cinnamon powder
1/2 tablespoon grated ginger
About 9-10 small drops of red food coloring
*Note- My food coloring bottle hole is very tiny.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
For glaze
You can also give a butter, milk, egg brush before baking for a lovely brown color
For glaze
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
2 tablespoons of water
If glaze not thick enough add more sugar or boil it for few minutes.
