At SHOT SHOW's Media Range Day, I'm hanging out with Barry Markowitz, and we stop by Steyr's booth to see their new rifles. This rifle looks a lot like an ACR or SCAR, but it's made by Anschutz, an outfit know for match grade benchrest rifles, biathlon rifles, and target rifles. So you know it's extremely accurate.
Now, it did have a number of failures. But it had thousands of rounds through it, without cleaning or lube. A little of either would have gone a long way.
You can hear the metallic clinking? Those are hits on steel plates. This was an impressive rifle.
