This scene is from the original (student) production at Texas State University - San Marcos. It was performed in a lecture classroom. We used lamps on the stage, with limited lighting for downstage, but scenes played here did not appear as dark to the audience as they do in this video, nor did the lamps glow as keenly. The room had a set of stairs on each side of the house, leading to exit doors at the back. I used these spaces and toyed with distance, and even played from the house-- but the very nice person who filmed this was unprepared for this, so the camera does not always track with the action.
