Cold Sunday Morning in December did not stop these local fishermen from hitting the seas and catching some fish. The front that brought down the fish also brought cold air and the fish. The seas were rough but the bite for Tuna, Mahi, Kingfish, and Wahoo was hot offshore. This lead to a lot of anglers braving the conditions and headed offshore. Sure to some of you from the north it did not seem that cold but for Florida, it was basically a Blizzard, we don't like cold, that's why we live in Florida.
The strong current was ripping tide has lead several boats to broach over and almost sink while crossing the bar and entering Jupiter Inlet. Watch as these boats battle angry wave after angry waves. This is why I think Jupiter Inlet is more Dangerous than Haulover Inlet. The sandbar may not be as big as Haulover but the conditions and Jupiter Inlet can get really tough. The outside bar crossing catching many off guard. The outside bar was very angry this day.
All kinds of boats in Jupiter, FL Palm Beach County transiting one of the most dangerous inlets in Florida. These boats can get themselves in trouble easily if they don't use the correct speed and choose the right lines at Jupiter Inlet.
