In this video, I unbox a cigar box guitar I received as part of a swap from the Facebook group Great CBG Builder Swap-off, Swap #7.

This CBG was built for me by Chris Doyle. This is his description of the instrument:
" It is a 23" scale, the box is a deadwood fat bottom Betty box with the artwork that's printed on it just enhanced a little bit. The neck is a piece of Poplar salvaged and cut down from a telephone pole that got knocked down by my house a few years ago in a tornado. The fretboard is red oak with maple position markers. As for what wood the laminate is on the headstock, I've got no clue, I have a multi-pack of random laminates and I thought that one looked cool. The pickup is a $5 hollar from MGB with a cover made for it. The finish is true oil to give the headstock and fretboard a little shine, then the back of the neck was sanded to be a matte finish. The bone string spacer was donated by my dog from one of his that got a little too small for him. The rose knob again is a salute to the deadwood art as they always have roses on them. I think that's about it, enjoy!"
