Your 11 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Feb. 24, 2022: If you've tuned into 3News on-air or online over the past several days, you've heard the buzz word of 'winter storm' being tossed around. Well, the timeline of that is late tomorrow through early Friday. Will this be the most snow we've ever received? Not even close...but the variables of an icy mix and snow are at play.
The closer you find yourself to the lake, the likelihood you experience more snow than anything. A brief mixing of sleet/ice mixing in from time to time is likely; however, the best chance for this mixed bag of precipitation to fall is for of central and southern counties. Again, that would mean our central and southern zones would see less snow accumulation and more of an icy mixture.
