The State Minister for Foreign Affairs in charge of International Affairs Okello Oryem has defended President Yoweri Museveni’s decision to appoint Busoga King, Kyabazinga Gabula Nadiope as an envoy saying the position will benefit the people of Busoga.
Whereas Gabula’s role has not been specifically stated ,there are overtures that he will represent President Yoweri Museveni before other traditional and cultural institutions
The appointment has reignited the debate on the role of traditional and cultural leaders.
