San Sebastián is a paradise for food lovers. The local food is pintxos (pronounced P-I-N-C-H-O-S), a special Basque tapa that is just one or two bites per portion. Each bar has its own specialties, and the culture of the area is very much entwined with the gastronomy. The way the locals in #SanSebastián eat is to have just one or two #pintxos in a bar. Food tours are great, I chose a fantastic one with Devour Tours. It's an excellent way to have a night out, make some friends, learn the culture, and of course enjoy some of the best food and drink the area has to offer. It is particularly perfect for anyone travelling alone who may be reluctant to go into a restaurant and eat solo.
