Hey everyone, Ben here! Welcome to this month’s shop tour, where we’re taking you behind the scenes at both our clean and dirty shops. We’ve got a lot going on with some incredible builds, so let’s dive in:
In the Clean Shop
🚗 1972 Nova
This classic is undergoing a full restomod transformation! We’re installing:
RC Coilover Suspension Kit
13” Wilwood Brakes (front & rear)
A narrowed 9-inch rear end
Vintage Air A/C system
Holley Terminator X EFI System powering a multi-port injection upgrade
We’re also adding Detroit Speed’s mini tub kit, two-piece Forgeline wheels, and dressing up the engine for a modern pro-touring vibe.
🚙 Jeep Wrangler Build
This Jeep is almost ready to hit the road! It features:
A 5.3L LS Engine with Texas Speed cam upgrades
4L60E automatic transmission paired with an Atlas transfer case
Dana 44 axles and custom driveshafts
Vintage Air, Dakota Digital gauges, and a Painless wire harness
The matte black and silver combo really makes it pop. Final steps include installing glass and a shakedown before delivery to the customer.
🏎️ 1938 Chevrolet Coupe
This long-term project is getting its finishing touches, including:
Blueprint 350 SBC engine
TCI 700R4 overdrive transmission
A Scotts Hot Rods chassis
The custom interior will feature a reworked ‘55 Chevy dash, and the car is heading to Speed and Design for upholstery before making its show debut next year.
🛻 1972 Chevy C10
This stunning red C10 is nearly ready for delivery! We’re wrapping up:
Black interior accents, fresh carpet, and reupholstered seats
A final glass installation to complete the look
This classic strikes a perfect balance between style and performance.
In the Dirty Shop
🚛 Fiberglass to Steel Hood Conversion
We recently swapped a fiberglass cowl hood for a steel one on a returning build. After precise gapping, bodywork, and paint, this beauty is ready for its owner.
⚙️ New Equipment
We’ve added a larger English wheel, a mag brake, and a pneumatic drill press to enhance our metal fabrication capabilities and improve overall quality.
🛠️ 1950s Truck & 1963 C10
The ’50s truck is up next for metal finishing and epoxy priming before moving into bodywork.
The ’63 C10 is getting finishing touches, including Vintage Air, new steering components, and a custom wood bed frame. The owner plans to give it a patina paint job before hitting the road.
