My birthday fell on Holy Week and so I decided to have a 3d2n staycation for our little family. Good thing I came across THR’s Mountain Escape package. I immediately booked and got our room upgraded (since it’s over 30days).
Upon entering the room, I was surprised with their bday card and sweet treat.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀:
✅Perfect for quick getaway. Just less than an hr from Pasig to San Mateo. It’s even easier and closer now via C6.
✅Nice room amenities. Thick bed, huge towels, fully working hot & cold shower, etc.
✅Eco-friendly. There is a water dispenser just outside our room and glasses provided to us.
✅Massive place! Even they were fully booked as we were told during Holy Week, we didn’t even notice it.
✅Oh! We love their food! Everything we tried, MASARAP, AS IN!
✅Buffet breakfast - this is the highlight of our stay. Feels like a 5-star. They will even cook the omelette right in front of you.
✅We went out from our room to explore the place and when we got back, the bed was fixed and newly fresh towels were provided and nothing from our items went missing.
✅Awesome view of Metropolis at night.
✅Newly constructed /opened playroom - perfect for families with kids! Mukhang hinabol nila for Holy Week/Easter Sunday.
✅ We were surprised they provide towels once you dip in the pool at no charge. How cool is that?!
✅ Staffs were all nice and accommodating. Really kudos to them!

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀:
❎You need to have your own car or rent kasi mataas yung place, hindi ka makaka-book ng Grab. Careful din sa driving kasi may mga blind spots or sharp curves.
❎Check in time - 3PM. Check out time - 11AM. Not the usual 2PM check in, 12NN check out. Our check-in time even got delayed for 1hr but they compensated it for 1hr late check-out.
❎I made a dinner reservation for my bday a month before so I’ll get a good view of the metropolis (this was promised to me by the person I spoke with) but when we got to the pool bar, the dinner was set up inside so I have to ask to transfer, and they did but there was no view).
❎Since we got a package, we need to inform the staff that we haven’t gotten this and that. We were kinda expecting they already knew once we give them our room number.

T enjoyed the playroom. It was huge, clean and secure.
I also get to try something new - wall climbing. 🙂

On our last night, we joined the Bonfire & S’mores activity. It offers bonfire, camping under the stars, amazing view of the metropolis, unlimited hot chocolate and mallows.

We really had a blast staying at THR. WE WERE TRULY SATISFIED (caps lock para intense!) and we will definitely go back.
