This is a Microsoft Project tutorial covering how to move Excel data into a Project file. The tutor starts off by creating a new import map. The tutor maps the Excel fields so that they match the project fields and then saves the map. The tutor then makes a change to the Excel data and runs the import wizard again so that the change is updated in Microsoft Project. The tutor then records a macro of the whole process and adds a button to the Quick Access toolbar. The tutor mentions that the map feature is best used to get Excel data into Microsoft Project and then use Project going forward. How to move Excel data to Microsoft Project
