While vacationing and enjoying the beaches of Barcelo, we were gifted by the presence of sea turtles while snorkeling. We were simply surrounded by them. We had more success meeting up with them early morning. Having once tried swimming with Acumal turtles, the experience with Barcelo turtles was so much more fun. As they are swimming right by the resort, we didn't have to schedule special trips to Akumal.
