Will the Lord reject for ever? Will he never show his favour again? Has his unfailing love vanished for ever?
Has his promise failed for all time? Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has he in anger withheld his
compassion? - Psalm 77:7-9
We’ve all been there. In a moment of desperation we called out to God, we sought his face, we pleaded
for him to intervene, we believed for a miracle… only to be left disappointed. As a result, our hearts and
minds were flooded with doubts and questions; ‘Where are you God? Why did you let that happen? Why
didn’t you answer my prayer?’ In this session we delve into the mystery of unanswered prayer as we
wrestle with why God doesn’t always act when we want him to, and how to keep trusting God in the
midst of uncertainty.
