Small drama at sea as our engine fails in the middle of the night. 100 nautical miles from land, we have no wind and are slowly crossing busy shipping lanes, with some fairly substantial container ships (240ft long with 4-mile stopping distances) ... Not ideal. Despite all of this we have an unforgettable passage, with turtles, dolphins, silky seas and even some wind... just when we need it.
