Beaches, border, harbor, forts, but mostly museum of East Germany …

It was just a short trip with the larger family to the island of Usedom (Polish: Uznam). The island is pretty much embedded into the coastline, the north-east facing the Baltic Sea. Most of it belongs to Germany but the east end belongs to Poland.
Before the German reunification the island was part of the German Democratic Republic (GDR) aka East Germany. One of the main attractions is the related museum. But fear not, there were some old school calculators and oscilloscopes too.
