This table is one of my favorite plans to build and its not as difficult as you might think. Today I want to show you how I make tables like this and with a pretty simple base you can DIY a table like this too! I would call this an intermediate project mostly because of the top construction. If you want some more specific info on how to laminate or glue up a table top make sure to check out my video on that I did a few months back.

The base is pretty simple and can be constructed pretty easily.

Materials
Base
4x4x10 - cut at hardware store to 30” for 4 legs
Then mitered to 27.5” with a 10 degree miter parallel

4x4x8 - cut to 40” 2 pieces for the half lap cross connector with a 10 degree miter on the ends not parallel

2 2x4x8 - cut to 64” *optional to miter the ends for decorative look

Kreg jig 2 ½ inch screws - [ Ссылка ]

TOP
6ft pieces of 5/4 or 6/4 lumber calculate to have 6 feet wide by 6 foot long
I used 5/4 alder

Joint the edges and glue and clamp together before cutting the top with the plunge router.

Scrap for 3 ft guide for router
