This is a tense thriller that combines survival drama and criminal intrigue. The plot revolves around two sisters who live on different continents and lead separate lives. Meanwhile, on land, the younger sister Liz, who remained on the island, unwittingly witnesses a dangerous crime. Her knowledge makes her an unwanted witness for self-interested criminals. Liz is trapped by circumstances and tries to escape from people who want to eliminate her in order to cover up their crimes.
The film skillfully combines two storylines that develop in parallel - the struggle of Kate and her friends to survive at sea and the efforts of Liz to save her life on land. Both sisters find themselves in danger, but each faces their own challenges.
