A double loop of 1.5mm accessory cord has been added to a Petzl Microtraxion for TRS (Top Rope Soloing). The standard lock-out nub has been ground off to prevent accidental locking/unlocking while in use. When used as a secondary/back-up device, the thump loop allows it to be quickly disengaged at the top of the route before rappelling back to the base of route. The secondary loop also allows it to be used as a primary TRS device by attaching to a chest sling for holding it vertically while climbing for fall protection.
