A fresh controversy has erupted in the state of Telangana over the unveiling of the Telangana Thalli Statue at the state Secretariat. The Opposition claims that the new redesigned statue displays the Abhayamudra which resembles the symbol of the Congress Party. The opposition also alleges that the new statue is insulting the culture and heritage of the state.
