An unspecified amount of money suspected to be millions of shillings was over the weekend stolen from the Kayole branch of equity bank in Nairobi. Police reports indicate that an unknown number of robbers drilled their way into the bank premise through a wall from a neighbouring house, and further welded their way into the strong room before taking off with the money.
