Marike Kolossa-Gehring, Head of Unit, German Environment Agency, Coordinator of HBM4EU talks about Science and policy for a healthy future – HBM4EU, the European Human Biomonitoring Initiative. In her presentation the goals achieved so far are addressed as well as advantages and challenges at the science-policy interface. In particular some positive impacts of HBM4EU for policy making are highlighted.
