Specs are nice and all, but how do these premium subwoofers compare in real world use? Here's my break down of things I think are important, along with my own personal choice at the end... Vv Click "SHOW MORE" vV

This was a great video to do, since there isn't a dog in the bunch! As I pointed out, my personal choice might be based on things that aren't as important to you, but the video should help make your own decision easier.
This video also highlights the usefulness of Room EQ Wizard. I've taken MANY measurements of the PB-3000, but for some reason the room correction was not as good as I was used to.
I rarely have a problem with room correction, but the graphs for the PB-3000's just didn't look right. After shooting the video I did room correction again. It took it from the lowest depth of presentation to the second best in the group, where I expected it to be in the first place. The graphs were smoother as well the second time around, and they sounded a touch deeper, indicating that there was definitely an issue.
All three subs were on a Denon X4500, a great workhorse of an AVR. The "faulty" attempt could have been from a train passing by, detecting too much low frequency and lowering it, hard to say. I had a similar problem trying to calibrate subs in the RV in Las Vegas because of helicopters overhead.
The graphs in the video for the PB-3000 are what I was used to seeing in all previous measurements, and were taken with NO PEQ adjustments. The graphs for the Monolith 15 and PB-4000 were properly representative in my opinion.
I feel this was a very close comparison, with solid performance from each sub. All three are delightfully explosive, deep sounding, well composed, and plenty loud. The response curves also allow you to run more gain than usual while still sounding balanced.
Which of these subs did you/would you choose, and why?
