Tomato Ketchup Recipe:
Samagri:
1 kg tamatar
1 bada pyaaz
2-3 lehsun ki kaliyan
1/2 inch adrak
1/2 cup chini
1/4 cup sirka
1 tsp namak
1 tsp lal mirch powder
1 tsp kali mirch powder
2 tbsp tel
Vidhi:
Tamatar ko dho kar chauthai mein kaat lein.
Pyaaz, lehsun aur adrak ko chhil kar chop kar lein.
Kadhai mein 2 tbsp tel garam karein aur usmein chop kiya hua pyaaz, lehsun aur adrak daal kar 2-3 minute tak bhunein.
Ab usmein tamatar daal dein aur medium aanch par pakayein jab tak woh naram aur gaadha na ho jaayein.
Gas band kar dein aur mixture ko thanda hone dein.
Jab mixture thanda ho jaaye, usko blender mein blend kar lein, taaki mixture smooth ho jaaye.
Smooth mixture ko sieve se chhan lein, taaki beej aur chunks ko nikal jayein.
Chhaana hua mixture ko kadhai mein daal kar usmein chini, namak, lal mirch powder aur kali mirch powder daal dein.
Dhimi aanch par 20-25 minute tak pakayein ya jab tak ketchup gaadha na ho jaayein.
Ab usmein sirka daal dein aur aur 5 minute aur pakayein.
Gas band kar dein aur ketchup ko thanda hone dein.
Ab ketchup ko sterilized jar ya bottle mein bhar kar refrigerator mein store kar lein.
Aapka ghar ka tomato ketchup pizza ke saath serve karne ke liye taiyar hai!
Tomato Ketchup Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 kg tomatoes
1 medium-sized onion
2-3 garlic cloves
1/2 inch ginger
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
2 tbsp oil
Instructions:
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into quarters.
Peel and chop the onion, garlic, and ginger.
In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Saute for 2-3 minutes.
Add the chopped tomatoes and cook on medium heat until they become soft and mushy.
Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool.
Once the mixture is cool, blend it in a blender to form a smooth puree.
Strain the puree through a sieve to remove any seeds or chunks.
Pour the puree back into the pan and add sugar, salt, red chili powder, and black pepper powder.
Cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes or until the ketchup thickens.
Add vinegar and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let the ketchup cool.
Transfer the ketchup into a sterilized jar or bottle and store it in the refrigerator.
Your homemade tomato ketchup is ready to serve with pizza!
