One of the best mountain destinations in Switzerland 📌

✨We visited Gornergrat from Zermatt and were blown away looking at the beautiful mountain ranges. The main attraction here is the Gorner glacier, one of the most beautiful glaciers in Switzerland.

🚂How to reach
From Zermatt take the gornergrat rail, one of the most beautiful and scenic rides in Switzerland. The ticket costs 126 CHF per person but you can get it for 63 CHF using the half fare card like we did. The views from this train are heavenly ! You can spot Matterhorn literally from your seat ! Sit on the right side for the best views of Matterhorn 😍

✨ What to do
Once you reach the station, you will see panoramic views of Swiss Mountains. You can also spot the Matterhorn which on a clear day looks fabulous. There is also a Matterhorn photo point. But the main attraction is Gorner Glacier which looks absolutely jaw dropping. You can see it from so close ! There are various viewpoints and also a small hike to see 360 views.

✨There is a hotel, restaurants and few shops as well here. Don’t forget to have a cup of coffee with the view of Matterhorn😍

Note: The Gornergrat Rail is hop-on, hop-off, you can get down at Rotenboden station and do a small hike to see Rifflesee lake which is absolutely breathtaking and from there you can see the Matterhorn reflection 😍
