Although this is a giant among the asters it has a late & longer bloom period than its relatives, making a special niche in the fall garden. No need to stake it’s sturdy stems! Great for cutting bouquets and unfortunately great food for the voles. Aggressive rhizomes will keep you ahead of the wildlife!
