ABF # 2 back again at 18th – 19th December 2019. This is an annual event organized by Arak Dewi Sri and the Himpunan Bartender Indonesia.
The aims of this event is to introduce arak as one of the local wisdoms that we must maintain its continuity as a noble cultural heritage. “The culture of drinking arak must be returned to its rules, that should be for the younger generation to enjoy arak responsibly, education is what we must prioritize before we discussing legalization” said Putu Widhiantara, founder of The Bartimes Magazine, on the sidelines of the seminar and discussion with the theme “The arak between legalization and tradition”
This time ABF was not only filled by bartender competitions and seminars, but was also filled with other activities in the form of food and beverage expos, and music festivals.

“The Bali Arak Festival will be held every year and next year we hope that several Asian countries will participate in the competition,” said the owner of Hatten Araks Ida Bagoes Rai Budarsa.
