This session goes into the specifics of confidential computing and how it works to support telecom operators, CSPs and Independent Software Vendors to handle sensitive data and protect it not only in transit and at rest, but specifically as it is in use. Ruben outlines how AWS employs specialized hardware, firmware and software to enable operators to achieve in-use confidentiality at scale. He explores the AWS Nitro system, Nitro enclaves and Nitro TMP for protection and compliance to regulation and illustrates this for specific telco use cases, such as 5G network security and authentication measures, but also for mission critical applications.
