How thin can we go on our #engagementring bands? That is a question we are often asked and the answer used to be just under 2 millimeter.
With some testing of new techniques in our design workshop we are now introducing a new line of Super Slim bands that can accommodate the tops of most any style engagement ring design we have; they come in right around 1.5 millimeters wide.
The first two in this series are models SOR-23404 which features a 2 carat round diamond center with a fully encrusted pave diamond six-prong basket atop a plain band; and model SOR-23405 which showcases a 1.57 carat oval diamond center in our Signature Wrap design with the most delicate of pave bands.
How can we make it so thin yet durable enough for everyday wear? Our craftsmen compress the metal wire that makes up the band to make it very dense and resistant to bending or breaking.
