SR Merchant Navy Class 35018 "British India Line" passes through Bamfurlong with a single support coach in tow en route from the Crewe Heritage Centre to Carnforth Steamtown. The steam loco was working a locomotive positioning move I would say ahead of her next tour duty.

The steam locomotive was running around 10 minutes early here having had a long sit as booked in the Acton Bridge area. I was expecting a diesel as the information I had lead my belief that way so it was a lovely surprise to see another steam loco.
