Ship in a bottle. This is a model of a Brigantine it's about 2 1/2 inches long. It's built so that the masts may be folded and this allows it to be inserted into the bottle. You can see that I pull on the threads to make the masts return to their proper position inside the bottle. Later I reach in with a stick and put a drop of glue onto every bit of thread as it exits the ship model. I let it dry and then I cut it off.
