Get the light-painting tubes at [ Ссылка ]
It feels like it was yesterday. Oh wait, it was yesterday. Now you know why we are rarely shooting at home.... way too many bugs ;) That night, we tested the new wiggle tool (a simple 6' acrylic rod) and I'm super happy with the results.
Also, the picture at 6:30 is made using a 6 stops ND filter (thanks Nisi!!!). It's the first time I do something like this, and this is very likely to become part of my usual way to work at the blue hour. What's amazing about this is that we can shoot with a wider aperture a bit earlier at the blue hour. I got too distracted by the bugs, but I should also have added my graded one on top to block more light from the sky.
Tomorrow, I'll post part 2 of this video, where we do light-painting in the afternoon!

--- About the Tube Stories
We're a dancer/photographer duo making our way using a tube, a feather, and a flashlight. Everything we do is lit by hand, one frame at a time. Light-painting for us is a lifestyle, and this is what we share with our audience. The purpose of the Tube Stories is to bring a brighter and more colorful night to whoever is going to cross our path. Our work has been presented on the BBC, CNN, MTV, VICE, TEDx and much more.
