It seems like everywhere we turn, people are touting tea for the antioxidants. Don't get me wrong — antioxidants are great! But the term can be one of those "fluff" words that people read and don't immediately recognize or appreciate. Tea, though, has many more benefits than just the antioxidants you ingest. I learned from Dr. Jessica Wu that using a green tea compress is an easy way to help heal a sunburn. It brings down your body temperature and also helps with inflammation. A tea bag can even help fix a broken nail! And if you want a nontoxic mirror cleaner, black tea helps get rid of streak and residue. Check out this week's Beauty Junkie, and let me know in the comments your favorite uses for tea!
