The Adventure of Little Ralph (PlayStation game) has around 5 frames of input latency. All character actions (such as crouching, jumping, moving, slashing) have 5 frames of lag, and other random actions (such as the main menu) have 4 frames of lag. If you're sensitive to input latency, this can possibly be a problem.
To fix it, enable Run-Ahead. 3 frames of Run-Ahead is the safe spot as there won't be any skipped animation frames. Have fun.
As you can see in my video, the P key pauses the emulation. The K key is 1-frame advance. So when pausing the game and holding Square, the game takes 5 frames to process my input. When using SwanStation's Run-Ahead feature, it removes those lag frames completely. Processing power takes a real hit, though: it comes close to maxing out my i7-13700K.
