"5000" signifies a 5000lb capacity which handily lifts almost all "normal" passenger vehicles minus large SUVs and bigger trucks. When collapsed, the QuickJack BL-5000SLX is only 3" tall, meaning it can slide under almost any car that doesn't have significantly lowered suspension and the days of driving your car onto wood 2x4s before lifting are over. Using pressurized automatic transmission fluid, the 2L capacity pump sends hydraulic fluid through high quality hoses and quick connect fittings to a shock, pressure balanced by a 50psi air cylinder.

Although the kit already comes with 4 2" rubber lift blocks and another 4 "3 blocks, I also purchased the QuickJack pinch weld blocks to safely wrap around the pinch welds on the car and not risk crushing them.

The wall hangers are beautifully constructed and reduce the entire footprint of the lift frames to just a few square inches of floor use once they're hung up.
