This week I decided to try a static video instead of a walking video. Apart from relaxing you can also find my brief review/description of the beaches here:
23 Fototi Trees at Eagle Beach - Great beach in general. Fairly calm waters. You can snorkel near the rocks but watch out with the watersports vehicles.
23 Beach near Divi Phoenix Resort - Not the best for swimming but the waters are mostly calm and clear. If you are looking for a quiet beach near Palm Beach this may be the only one left. Good for some sunbathing privacy.
23 Druif Beach near Tamarijn Resort - Good overall beach. This somewhat underrated area is normally not too crowded. Some currents and waves occasionally but nothing to be too concerned about.
23 Malmok beach - Not recommended for younger kids. Very rocky. Few sandy areas. However, on the bright side, the waters are normally super clear and good for snorkeling. Watch out as it's normally rocky getting in and out of the water. Normally this beach is not crowded.
23 Arashi Beach - This beach near the California Lighthouse is very popular with both locals and tourists. There is a bar/restaurant, toilet facility, and watersports available. The beach sand quality is very good although certain areas in the water may be a bit rocky. Waters are usually calm and kids love it here. Snorkeling is also a possibility here although not the best.
23 Boca Catalina - Probably the most popular snorkeling spot on the island. Most catamaran trips stop here so it can sometimes get really crowded in the waters. There is a lot of tropical fish in this area including an occasional turtle sighting. The beach sand is super good and the waters are generally very clear. Locals love it here to so it can get somewhat crowded on weekends.
23 Tres Trapi - Video does not do justice to the clear waters of this little beach; possibly the clearest on the whole island. It's super popular with the locals but in recent times has gotten popular with the tourists as well. One of, if not the best place to spot turtles, at least from the shore. Negatives: it's super small and mostly a beach to get in and out of the water. Not a lot of tropical fish but you can find schooling fish which can be pretty cool to see too. If you want to sunbathe here you would have to lay on the rocks (yes some people do it). Not recommended for younger kids a/o babies. Jumping from the rocks can be pretty cool.
23 Surfside Beach - Only certain areas are nice for swimming. Some areas may have a strong undertow. The waters are fairly shallow and good for young kids. Nearby bars & restaurants are a bonus. If you love airplanes, it's the best spot to watch them land. There is a water play area for a fee. Not the best overall beach but everything else in this area makes up for it. The beach sand is good. Lots of boats etc. going by, please be careful.
23 Divi Beach - One of the most beautiful beaches in my opinion. Beach sand quality is usually excellent. Great for photos in the mornings as the aqua blue waters is nothing short of spectacular. As for swimming it's good but can get wavy at times.
23 Eagle Beach - The Eagle beach is simply the best overall beach on Aruba, great for kids and adults. The best beach sand quality can be found here. I love the wide beach too; while there may be a lot of people it never really feels too crowded. Depending on the season you may also spot a turtle hatching.
23 Palm Beach - This is the most popular place to stay, namely the High Rise hotels area. The best resorts are situated here. It can get crowded and noisy in certain areas however it also has the most options for bars, restaurants, watersports, etc. The beach sand quality is for the most part very good too. Not too many locals go here except near the Riu. Once in the water be aware of the boats etc. Kids love it here.
